This Web-Site, and other sites existing under the bkks.org.uk domain, have been constructed by the BKKS, to provide information to its' Members and the Internet in general. Non- members of the BKKS are more than welcome to join and participate on this Site. It is a condition of the BKKS however, that all participants (users) of this website, agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

• As a user, you agree to use this Site, only to promote koi keeping and the activities/actions of this Society.
• As a user, you agree to be responsible for any information that you post on this Site and to indemnify the BKKS against any possible 'action' ie: libel etc., that could arise as a result of any posting or incident arising or associated with any posting. The Administrators and Moderators of this Site will attempt to remove or edit 'objectionable material' that is deemed to be unsuitable, as quickly as possible. It is acknowledged that all posts made to this Site are the views and opinions of the individual concerned and are not those of the Society, it's officers, or the site's Administrator's, Moderator's or Webmaster ( except for their own postings ).
• As a user, any information you submit to this site is considered a donation to the society for the furtherance of it's aims and goals. If not original material, You must own the copyright, or have written proof of legal permission to use, for any material, including images, that is posted on this site. You further agree to give the BKKS full permission in perpetuity the ability to further publish or republish this information in any way that it deems necessary for the function or promotion of the website. The BKKS acknowledges that the copyright for all information submitted resides within yourself and agrees that wherever possible credit for any material used in this fashion will be given as appropriate.
• As a user, you agree not to post, abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually orientated or any other material that may violate any applicable law. You hereby, further agree to post no material that can be construed as 'breach of copyright', stolen or illegal. Failure to adhere to these conditions will result in the user either being temporarily or permanently banned from this Website at the BKKS's discretion and your service provider being informed.
• As a user you agree that if you see irresponsible or unwarranted posts of the nature described above you will report them to the moderators immediately.
• To Use this site you must register. When completing your registration form you must use your complete name and contact details and not a pseudonym, incomplete details, or those of someone else.
• You agree that your log-in name is yours and yours alone. The sole exception of this is where a log-in is shared by a family, but in which case each user must agree to these terms and conditions and explicitly identify themselves on each post. Otherwise sharing of log-in ID's and passwords is not permitted and may lead to barring from this Site. Creating multiple accounts for a single user is not allowed (BKKS officers excepted where clearly identified). You may not choose a username that could be construed as misrepresenting your identity (e.g. using a name that is not your own, or the name of a different business). Doing so will lead to your login being revoked.
• This Site utilises 'cookies' to store information on your local computer. These 'cookies' do not contain any of the information you have divulged in the registration process, only serving to improve your viewing pleasure. The email address is used only for confirming your registration details and password ( and for sending new passwords, should you forget your current one. ), and for sending out important statements regarding the functioning of the website.
• The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these Conditions.
• You agree, that the Webmaster, Administrator & Moderators' of this Site have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic, at any time, should they see fit.
• As a user, you agree for all information disclosed by yourself, to be stored on our database. We the BKKS ( including Webmaster, Administrator & Moderators' ) confirm that this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, but cannot be held responsible for any 'hacking' attempt, that may lead to the data being compromised. You agree to indemnify the BKKS against any disclosure of your details in this fashion and any resulting damages that may occur. Users further agree not to use any contact information gained from accessing this Website, for any other purpose, than personally contacting the user concerned. The use of gathered addresses for marketing purposes is strictly prohibited. For further information, you should read the privacy policy.
• As a user, you agree not to use this website for the purposes of selling, including but not limited to second hand pond equipment and/or koi carp, or other pond fish. This includes personal and commercial sales.
• Direct advertising by Commercial concerns ( including any Koi related businesses, and persons connected to them ) is strictly prohibited within the Site, including (but not limited to) reference to prices, sales and marketing, offers and quotes. However, you may choose a username to represent your own business name and may have a single link to your own website in your profile details. The BKKS is at this time unable to entertain any other form of sponsorship or promotion from any business, but we may be able to accomodate more in the future.
• Users further agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Company that hosts our Web Services. These are available upon request. Users further agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of any partner websites used by or affiliated with the BKKS.
• Users may unsubscribe from this service at any time. At this time we will remove all physical references to your details that you have supplied into the database; this will not however remove any information that you published or contributed to this website.
• We reserve the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. Should you disagree with any future amendment to these Conditions, you have the right to unsubscribe at that time. The society further reserves the right to modify or remove any part of this service at any time for any reason. If you disagree with these Terms and Conditions you must navigate away from this website now.
• This website may be withdrawn at any time.
• No part of these Terms and Conditions constitutes a contract on the part of the BKKS to provide you with any product or service.
• Disclaimer of liability: Much of the information submitted to this site has been done so by the community, and it's publishing here does not constitute or imply endorsement, recomndation, or favouring by the BKKS. The content provided here is a free service provided by the BKKS to our visitors, and, as such, the BKKS cannot be held liable for the accuracy of the information presented. Visitors wishing to verify the information is correct should contact the authors of that information directly and/or seek confirmation of this from a secondary source.
